Burning Embers

"I built this fire to photograph an image of embers for our book. As I loaded my arms with logs and saw the dwindling wood pile, I wondered where I might get more wood. I lit the fire. Moments later when I checked my e-mail, there appeared this note from a friend, “How would you like to help yourself to my firewood pile darlin’? Happy Valentines Day.” Another gift of synchronicity!"
