Moving the Edge Gathering

Aarhus, Denmark
March 20-23, 2006

An adventurous inquiry into the role
of collective intelligence in moving the edge of evolution

This gathering is intended to support the emergence of a field of collective intelligence, where the practices, insights, principles, collegial networks, etc., of collective intelligence can be evolved in ways that have not happened so far.

If you feel called by this invitation, then you are invited.
The gathering will take place 20-23 March 2006, Aarhus, Denmark.

The costs are on a "company of friends"-basis: Everyone takes care of their own costs for room and food.
No one is paid for what they do to help the gathering happen. Costs, including food, will be
€ 514 (approx. $ 605) for double room and € 637 (approx. $ 749) for single room.

If you want to be part of this Moving The Edge Gathering,
go to http://movingtheedge.evolutionarynexus.org and sign up.

At the site you will also find background information, and contact information to connect with
members of the convening team, if you have any questions, contributions or suggestions to offer.

The sooner you respond to this invitation the more you contribute to make this gathering happen.
We need to contract with the venue by Jan. 15th, and will do so based on the number of
participants who have registered at that time.

Signature Statement for Moving The Edge

To our knowledge, this is the first gathering that is open to all
those who think their work involves collective intelligence.
In addition it is seen as the first of a series of such gatherings.

Our intention is to gather for the sake of the emergence of a
coherent field of collective intelligence. As part of this intention,
we plan to set aside or hold our personal agendas in ways
that actively welcome the emergence of larger discoveries
and possibilities none of us saw before.

There is no fixed prgram or format for the gathering. We trust
that the field of collective intelligence of the gathering will find
its way in how to make the best use of the potential possibilities of
50-100 committed people authentically showing up at the
same place and time with this shared purpose.

As a convening team we are wrestling with "walking the talk" in
acting as a field of CI calling a field of CI.

As a convening team we know, that we have initiated something
we don't know what is - and yet we move on with a deep felt sense that
this is something timely and ripe for evolution.
