Gathering: Moving The Edge - The October 2006 Gathering

An ongoing adventurous inquiry into the role of collective intelligence in moving the edge of evolution. This gathering is intended to support the emergence of a field of collective intelligence, where practices, insights, principles, etc., of collective intelligence can be evolved. In addition we intend to create space for engaging the field of collective intelligence for deepening inquiries into specific areas, such as: (1) The possible roles of business as seen from an evolutionary perspective (2) Our planetary home (3) Practices for integrated life. How the themes will be engaged depends on the experiences and insights brought present by the participants. Our intention is to come together for the sake of the whole (engaging a field of collective intelligence amongst the participants) and in service of the themes. Content and process of the gathering will be the result of how we engage with this field of collective intelligence, rather than of any individuals hosting, lecturing or of other more commonly seen conference activity.
