Dialogue
Processes: Online Graduate Course
Feb 5 - May 18 via internet
The Critical and Creative Thinking Program at The
University of Massachusetts (Boston) will host a Dialogue
Processes Online Graduate course structured as an online community
of practice. Its objective is to cultivate practical know-how
and theoretical knowledge of Dialogue Processes with a focus
on dialogue as described by Otto
Scharmer and William Isaacs of MIT and physicist, David
Bohm. The course offers a range of learning spaces designed
to develop our capacities for bringing significant changes
in how we think, communicate and learn together. In addition
to online inquiry, there are weekly skill building exercises,
coaching triads, collaborative assignments and real-world
dialogue-based projects . Instruction is delivered through
the internet, phone coaching, web-based meetings, as well
as audio and video files. Though this is a graduate level
course, it is designed to meet the needs of practitioners
and facilitators interested in engaging with these social
methodologies as wisdom processes. Instructor: Olen
Gunnlaugson.
