Women Moving the Edge: Women and Leadership for the Future
March 3-6, 2007 in Heerlijckyt van Elsmeren, BELGIUM
Emerging from an international gathering “Moving the Edge” convened in the spring of 2005 in Denmark has been born another initiative to take place in March of 2007, “Women Moving the Edge”. Three co-conveners, Ria Baeck of Belgium, Eugenie van Ruitenbeek of The Netherlands, and Judy Wallace of the USA will host this gathering for three days in a peaceful 18th century meeting facility in Belgium. The inquiry and collective practice will focus on Women and Leadership for the Future. Guiding questions are: “What qualities of leadership do we envision are needed now to bring positive change for all of life on this planet?” “What unique qualities do women hold in this vision? What qualities have we not yet imagined?” “Who are we collectively? Is there a collective holding back? Is there a source for stepping forward?” “What does conscious collective women’s leadership look like? How will we do and be that? How will we bring conscious collective leadership forward? Together?”
