Constellations and Their Contribution to Health
with Bert Hellinger

Bert Hellinger is considered to be one
of the most innovative and influential therapists in the world
today. He has synthesized years of training and experienced
with many modalities into the approach he developed and called
Family Constellations. He pioneered a way of disentangling
the current members of a family from the unresolved issues
of previous generations, so that love can flow from one generation
to the next.
Constellation
group processes have been described as "participation
in knowing fields". They are experiential and predominantly
nonverbal, requiring sensitivities to inner knowing and honoring
of the ancestors, both current and remembered. An individual's
physical and/or emotional illness may be symptomatic of unresolved
issues in their family system. A Family Constellation is a
tool to not only identify the systemic cause of the illness,
but it can also release the entanglements that may lead to
a resolution for the client and his family system.
