What is an underlying question that gives form to your work or interest in this field?

How can I best exemplify or interpret this new way of being within a group, this new paradigm so that others are able to more fully comprehend it and thus to move in this direction?

What is your personal experience of collective wisdom in groups?

Primarily through participation in rituals with others. When I would lead a ritual, I would select a theme and once we all gathered, I would encourage the individuals to manifest their unique energies. The resulting ritual would always be more than anything I could have orchestrated alone. I've also had experiences of collective wisdom in other groups that I attend. Most recently as a board member of the local food co-op where my mantra has become "leave your egos at the door and allow your individual uniqueness to blend with others to create magic."

What is it about the work in this field that excites you and connects you to your own deepest self?

Very simply, it is my passion and I am merely following my bliss. To discover that others are also walking this path gives validation to my own intuition that when the time was right, I would find or connect with the others of my "tribe." As it would appear that I have been able to connect in, this brings new excitement to my life because of the greater hope that the actual manifestation of what began as a kernel of thought deep within, can spiral outward to humanity as a whole. And by working together with others in the "tribe" we can all expand upon the collective wisdom contained within the group. By bringing all the uniqueness that each of us possesses, all the experiences we have gathered in our lives thus far, and seeing what can happen as a result, is just totally mind-blowing!

Please provide a brief storyline or snapshot of what brought you to this work.

My spirit brought me to this. When I listened deeply, I knew my truth and I chose to manifest it within my own life. As I've progressed on this path, there were barriers to be overcome and much inner work and inner changes to be made. I also chose to step outside the societally imposed boxes that constrained me. Seeing and comprehending the interconnectedness of all of life also contributed to this inner transformation. This then expanded outward to encompass collective wisdom and the realization that the whole is greater than the sum of its individual parts.

How would you like to be available to others in this field?

Just knowing that there are others who are actually interested in this and doing things in their own space is awesome! Being alone has allowed me to work through much of the inner changes but to bring this to the greater public awareness requires working together with others, either physically or in the collective consciousness.

As to what type of contribution might I be able to make - I'm sure my experiences in this lifetime are different than what many others have experienced because besides high school and some college classes, I am largely self taught. My curiosity has driven me to learn from a multitude of areas. This coupled with my regular day-to-day experiences means that I bring a different perspective than what many others have. Plus I have actively worked on implementing this in my everyday life with those around me. So when I read that others wonder how they can put these practices into effect because they have just experienced them during workshops and I see how I've been putting them into practice, I know that there are ideas and thoughts that I can contribute.

I have limited monetary funds and I work so traveling elsewhere would be very limited. However, I'm open to any other type of connections and would dearly love to communicate with others who are kindred souls in this field.
